This article has been carried out to study the predictors of atrial fibrillation in the elderly patients with ischemic heart disease. The examination of patients with stable angina pectoris, ІI–III functional classes was performed. It was shown that the predictors of atrial fibrillation development are 24-hour ischemia duration, E/A ratio characterizing myocardial diastolic function, left atrium size, left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular end-systolic volume.
