The aim of this work was to analyse diagnostic value of several recently developed MCG markers reflecting disturbances of time and spatial organization of myocardial excitation in patients with ischemic heart disease.
The prognostic value of MCG markers of electrophysiological response to ischemia was evaluated in terms of correlation of these markers with results of dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE). 19 patients (mean age
(50.0±17.5) years) and 27 healthy volunteers (mean age (37.0±12.5) years) were examined. Values of majority of markers differed highly significantly in groups examined. There was a statistically significant correlation
between MCG markers and DSE for patients with ischemic heart disease. Magnetic mapping as the sensitive and noninvasive diagnosis method may be recommended as gatekeeper at selection of patients for subsequent invasive diagnosis and treatments.
