N.M. Kobernyk Role of disturbed hemovascular homeostasis in progressing chronic heart failure in elderly people with a history of Q-myocardial infarction.

The present work was performed to improve the methods of diagnosis and treatment of chronic cardiac insufficiency in elderly people with a history of myocardial infarction, by way of ascertaining the role of a
disturbed hemovascular hemostasis in the activation of cell apoptosis and progression of systolic dysfunction of left ventricle, and the possibility of correction of myocardial functional state using drugs having antithrombotic effect. The work demonstrates the necessity for the use of anticoagulants in the therapy of patients with systolic myocardial dysfunction.
